Effective Date: March 2026 | Version 1.0ClubRugbyTickets is committed to providing a fair and transparent purchasing experience. This policy outlines our approach to refund requests and payment disputes for tickets and merchandise purchased via our platform.
1. General Refund Principle
If you experience any issues with your purchase, you may contact our support team directly. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis in line with this policy and applicable South African consumer protection legislation.
2. Ticket Refunds
- Match Cancellation: If a match is officially cancelled by the organiser, ClubRugbyTickets will process a full refund for all affected tickets within 7 business days.
- Match Postponement: If a match is postponed, your ticket will remain valid for the rescheduled date. If you are unable to attend the new date, you may request a refund within 48 hours of the postponement announcement.
- Buyer Error: Refunds for tickets purchased in error (wrong match, wrong quantity) are considered on a case-by-case basis. Requests must be submitted before the match date.
- No-Shows: Tickets not used at the event are non-refundable unless the match was cancelled or postponed.
3. Merchandise Refunds
- Defective Items: If you receive a defective or incorrect item, contact us within 7 days of receipt with photographic evidence. We will arrange a replacement or full refund.
- Change of Mind: We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases on merchandise items unless the item is defective.
- Non-Delivery: If your order has not been delivered within the stated timeframe, contact us immediately and we will investigate and resolve the matter.
4. Payment Disputes & Fraudulent Transactions
In cases of fraud or system errors, appropriate action will be taken, including refunds where applicable.
- If you notice an unauthorized transaction on your account, contact us immediately at clubrugbytickets@gmail.com
- We will investigate all reported fraudulent transactions within 3 business days
- Confirmed fraudulent transactions will be reversed and the matter reported to the relevant authorities
- Chargebacks filed without first contacting ClubRugbyTickets may result in account suspension
5. How to Request a Refund
Step 1: Email us at clubrugbytickets@gmail.com with subject line: "Refund Request โ [Order/Ticket ID]"
Step 2: Include your name, purchase date, ticket/order ID, and reason for the request
Step 3: We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and provide a resolution within 7 business days
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method (PayFast). Processing times depend on your bank but typically take 3โ7 business days after approval.
